01 Aug Working group meeting for the preparation of the Law on Public Procurement

Vrdnik, 23-26. July 2018 – In line with the Activity 1.3: Assistance in preparation of draft of new Law on Public Procurement (PPL) and of by–laws based on new PPL, the Project organized a meeting of the Working Group for the preparation of the Law on Public Procurement and provided support to the drafting of certain provisions of the draft Law by providing interpretations with comparative analysis with the EU Directives in the field of Public Procurement.

The meeting was attended by Ms. Sandra Damčević, Director of the Public Procurement Office, while expert support was provided by Ms. Teja Kolar, Project key expert.

The meeting contributed to the drafting of the Law which would be, to the greatest extent possible, harmonized with EU regulations in the field of public procurement, all in accordance with the Strategy and Action Plan.
