15 Oct Third round table within Public consultations on the draft of the new Law on Public Procurement

The third round table within the Public consultations on the draft of the new Law on Public Procurement titled ‘Presentation and discussion regarding the draft Law on Public Procurement’ was held on October 12, 2018 in Niš in the premises of the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Niš, with the attendance of around 70 participants.
Round table consultation was opened by Mr Vladan Stanojević, Head of Services Sector of the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Ms Milica Đurđević, Acting Assistant Minister, Ministry of Finance. The new solutions proposed in the Draft Law on Public Procurement were presented by Ms Sandra Damčević, Acting Director of the Public Procurement Office and leader of the project ‘EU Support to Further Improvement of the Public Procurement System in the Republic of Serbia’ Ms Teja Kolar.
The participants of Niš round table provided many specific suggestions for the improvements of the proposed new law and the discussion was therefore very constructive.

This event is the third in a series organized by the Public Procurement Office and the Ministry of Finance in cooperation with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce within the Public Discussion Program on the Draft Law on Public Procurement that will last until October 22, 2018.
