02 Nov Guidelines for calculation of total life cycle costs

Belgrade, 2 November 2018 – The document “Guidelines for calculation of total life cycle costs” was developed within the Activity 2.6 “Preparation of methodology for determination of estimated value of public procurement and guidelines for calculation of life cycle costs”. These guidelines, on the one hand, will help the contracting authorities to obtain cost effectiveness of concluded procurement contracts and on the other, contribute to further promotion of sustainable procurement approach in the Republic of Serbia.

As in the case of other documents developed by the Project, the Guidelines contain also explanation of relevant provisions of the EU public procurement rules (2014 EU directives on public procurement) as well as of other EU provisions, such as ‘clean vehicles directive’. In order to make the guidelines as practical as possible a number of useful examples, good practice cases and tools were also included.
