07 Dec Preparation of new Strategy for the Development of Public Procurement in the Republic of Serbia

Belgrade, 7 December 2018 – The Public Procurement Office, pursuant to the law, has initiated the elaboration of the Strategy for the Development of Public Procurement in the Republic of Serbia for the period 2019 – 2023, with the aim of defining the direction of further development and creating modern and efficient public procurement system.

The development of the public procurement system is a continuous process of gradual introduction of improved legal, institutional and implementing elements according to dynamics which enables all participants of the process to adequately adjust.

The Project is continuously supporting the activities and efforts of the Public Procurement Office on drafting the new strategic document.

In the previous period, the development of the system was implemented in line with the Strategy for the development of Public Procurement in the Republic of Serbia for the period 2014 – 2018 (Official Journal RS, no 122/14).

The Public Procurement Office invites all interested parties to submit their proposals and suggestions till 14 January 2019 by electronic mail to the following address: office@ujn.gov.rs.
