20 Dec Round table on drafting of the new Strategy for Development of Public Procurement System

Belgrade, 20 December 2018 – The Public Procurement Оffice, supported by the Project, organized a round table on development of the new Strategy for Development of Public Procurement System for 2019 – 2023.

Ms Sandra Damčević, the Director of the Public Procurement Office, presented basis for drafting of the new Strategy, as well as its general and specific goals.

The second speaker at the round table was Ms Maja Kušt, expert for public procurement, that presented content and concept of the draft Strategy within the context of scope and requirements of the accession negotiations on Chapter 5 – Public procurement.

Presentation of the draft Strategy was followed by a discussion with participants which provided inputs for further improvements of the draft Strategy, as well as cooperation with bodies in charge for public procurement system development. The Public Procurement Office invited all participants to submit additional written suggestions on document improvements.

All interested stakeholders are also invited to submit proposals and suggestions to the Public Procurement Office by 14 January 2019 via email to: office@ujn.gov.rs.
