Second and third Public Procurement Forum held in Belgrade

Belgrade, 29.11.2019. Second and third Public Procurement Forum was held on 27 and 28 November in the Palace of Serbia, with the aim of presenting the most significant novelties of the current reform of the public procurement system in Serbia. The event was organized by the Public Procurement Office with support of the Project.

Representatives of contracting authorities from central government bodies have had the opportunity to discuss with the Public Procurement Office the most significant novelties brought by the Proposal of the new Public Procurement Law. The Law is expected to become applicable as of  1 July 2020. In addition to presenting the Law, the participants went through exercises and a practical work on the new Public Procurement Portal, where they were introduced to the most important functionalities of the new Portal.

This event is a very useful platform for procurement experts to share information, views and opinions on the latest solutions in the field of public procuremement.

The first forum, held in May last year, brought together about 60 participants at a two-day event, at which local and foreign experts had the opportunity to share their experiences.
