05 Dec Workshop: ‘Clarifying and supplementing tenders’
Belgrade, 5 December 2018 – The Project has organized a workshop: „Clarifying and supplementing tenders“ for the representatives of the Public Procurement Office, Ministry of Finance and representatives of contracting authorities on the central and local level.
The speaker at the workshop was Mr Dariusz Piasta (Key Expert for Public Procurement).
Dariusz Piasta presented and explained, first, the provisions of the European Directives on Public Procurement relating to clarifying and supplementing tenders and then continued with elaborating the series of interesting cases which were dealt with by the European Court of Justice on this matter. The Expert has also presented how different EU Member states have approached to the issue of clarifying and supplementing tenders in their legislation. The topic of the workshop was considered from the point of view of legal and practical examples and comparative overview of different countries was given. Finally, the discussion was held about the issue of clarifying and supplementing tenders according to the draft new Public Procurement Law.
The participants had the opportunity to ask questions during the workshop. The workshop enabled the participants to get detailed information about the institute of clarifying and supplementing tenders, as well as to express their opinion how those provisions can be implemented in practice in Serbia according to current and new legal framework.
