Workshop: ‘Economically most advantageous tender’

Belgrade, 7 December 2018 – The Project has organized a workshop: „Economically most advantageous tender“ for the representatives of the Public Procurement Office, Ministry of Finance, Chamber of Commerce and representatives of contracting authorities and contracting entities on the central and local level.

The speaker at the workshop was Ms Maja Kušt (Expert for Public Procurement).

Maja Kušt presented and explained the provisions of the current Public Procurement Law and pointed out the differences in the provisions of the new Directives of the European Union on Public Procurement relating to the economically most advantageous tender. Maja Kušt also presented the solution in the draft of the new Public Procurement Law regarding the contract award criteria. In addition, it was particularly emphasized what the contracting authorities need to pay attention to when using the best ratio of price and quality as the contract award criteria and the series of practical examples were elaborated. She also indicated the difference relating to the criteria for selection of economic operators. Maja Kušt explained the relative and absolute model of economically most advantageous tender. Finally, the workshop has ended with the selection of the practical examples.

The participants were encouraged and given the opportunity to ask questions during the workshop. The workshop enabled the participants to get detailed information about the criteria of the economically most advantageous tender enabling them to prepare in advance for implementation of the provisions of the new Public Procurement Law in practice.
