24 Apr Members of the Working Group for new Public Procurement Law introduced to Public Procurement Portal’s functionalities
Novi Sad, 23 and 24 April 2019 – Members of the working group for the preparation of the new Public Procurement Law were introduced to the new Public Procurement Portal and its functionalities during a two-day workshop organized by the Project.
In the introduction, Teja Kolar, IPA Project team leader, familiarized the participants of the workshop with the Project and the framework of the new Public Procurement Portal, as well as basic principles and concepts.
“The new portal will be in the spirit of the law and its goals – it will strengthen transparency and modernize the public procurement procedures. It was our great pleasure to talk to the members of the working group and exchange ideas. We are looking forward to working together, and we are glad that the members of the working group took the opportunity to actively participate in the discussion.”
Sandra Damčević, director of the Public Procurement Office, thank the members of the working group on their initiative and everything they have done on preparing the new Public Procurement Law.
E-procurement experts Dean Firkelj and Alena Detan Karlović presented the participants the general overview of the new Portal, as well as how to register at the Portal and manage user accounts. The participants also learned about the specific aspects of the Portal. Among them, how to plan and launch public procurement procedures, submit electronic tenders, publish decisions and award contracts in public procurement procedures.
